One great thing about my daughter being a preemie is that she is so tiny, her clothes last much longer than baby clothes usually do. She is 14 months old, and she is currently wearing a onesie that is sized 0-3 months. It doesn’t quite snap, but it is roomy around the shoulders and the stomach. Don’t worry, she is almost on the growth chart, and her doctor assures me she is just growing at her own pace. But when I buy her clothes, I can rest assured that they will last a long time.
Buying designer clothes for babies is great, because it is so much cheaper! It really is easier to dress my daughter well than it is for me or my son. In these pictures, she is wearing a Calvin Klein vest, an oversize Target shirt that fits her like a dress right now, and these wonderful leg warmers I found on amazon. You pull them up to cover the baby’s legs, and they keep her legs warm under a dress. They are so much better than tights, because you don’t have to do all that work of pulling off the tights to change the baby’s diaper. They are the best new clothing invention I have seen since my son was a baby!
